Privacy policy
How information is stored and used in the PawDay iPhone app.

Information stored on your device
PawDay stores the dog profiles, photos, care history, reminders, health records, weights, expenses, and documents you enter on your device. These records may include owner or caregiver names, veterinary contact details, and any other information you choose to enter.
Accounts and permissions
This version has no account system, family sync, advertising, or analytics service. It does not automatically upload your diary to a PawDay server. It does not request your location, contacts, microphone, or camera. Photos and documents are selected through system pickers, and the app keeps its own copy of the selected content. Removing a document from PawDay does not remove your original in Photos or Files.
Subscriptions and Apple
Apple processes subscription purchases, renewals, payments and cancellations. PawDay does not receive your payment card number. The app uses StoreKit on your device to verify product and transaction identifiers, transaction authenticity, expiration dates and access status. This information is not sent to a PawDay server. Diary backups do not transfer subscription access; you can restore purchases using the same Apple Account. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy terms.
Reminders and the widget
If you enable notifications, your iPhone schedules them locally. Their titles may show your dog’s name and care description. The Home Screen widget receives a limited on-device snapshot containing the selected dog’s name and identifier, upcoming care titles and times, and refresh information. Full documents and expense records are not included in that snapshot.
Sharing and backups
You choose when to export or share a document, report, or backup and where to send it. Full backups contain diary data and saved documents and are not password-protected by PawDay. Recipients and storage services apply their own handling practices. App-generated temporary copies may remain in local cache until removed by the app or operating system.
Deletion and support
You can edit or delete records and dog profiles in the app. Deletion does not change copies you previously exported or shared. Device and operating-system backups depend on your system settings. If you contact support, the recipient receives the message and attachments you send. Please include only information needed to resolve your request.
